Kentucky Bloodhound was founded in 2005 by four search and rescue volunteers who noticed a need in the community and stepped up to make this team possible. With their perseverience and persistance Kentucky Bloodhound SAR was created. Since 2005 our team has been through many transitions, at one point being as small as three members, to now having members in multiple counties throughout the entire state of Kentucky. We have worked tirelessly to bring comfort and closure to our communities while building a foundation on successful finds and closing cold cases. Our team consists of volunteers that work in a variety of fields encompassing doctors, lawyers, nurses, veterinary technicians, epidemiologists, deputy sheriff’s and many more specialties. We continue to train and build a reputable team that will do everything in their power to bring your lost loved one home.
